Just the way it is until it isn&#039;t, as I am often heard saying to myself. 

I remember those almost five-pound first weeks. Good for the soul, although I NEVER believe the Biggest Loser losses in spite of the fact that they are probably true. 14 pounds? 19 pound? Go ON! But I&#039;m a cynic. 

I love these posts. I could go on and on about how much I relate but maybe I should just go write about it myself already. 

And good for you for no bacon-wrapped anything or filet or chicken skewers, because I can tell you that would NOT be the story I would be able to tell post-party.
