I’ve been so surprised at how happy I’ve been to be home after California. I mean, really…I so love to be on the move. But being still is good. Going to New Orleans for a photojournalism conference next weekend and the only reason I’m excited is because of how much I love photography.

Let me know if you get bored. Is Tallula worth the cab ride? ;)

I think a lot of people fancy themselves the type who “love travel.” It’s an exotic lifestyle to be one of those jet-setters. The reality of travel, though, is rarely as romantic as all that.

I like home.

I travelled 3-5 days every week for about five years, and I am glad to say I have been in an airplane exactly twice in two years. I think staying home is just great.
