The eggshell cracked

And Kris was herself again.

One day you wake up, and the cloud that is at least four days of Post-MS irritation and absentmindedness and cranky baby syndrome has lifted, and there You are. Your skin is clear once again and your eyes less Damien and more Gabriel (let it be known that I had to Google an angel reference.)

And on the drive to work you can appreciate the woman sauntering into her office wearing a top crafted from WIDE BLACK MESH (now with 45% more inappropriateness!) and the priest who is a Glamour Do in his black shorts and socks. And the humidity feels like a warm blanket rather than a nuisance. And you’re even looking forward to the embarrassment that will surely be softball, because you know what? It just might be fun. Not to mention that putting that glove on makes you feel just a little bit like a true Sassmonster. Awesome.

And even the plague that is too much broadcast Michael McDonald and this hell beast can’t get you down.

Now you know that’s a good day.

I know what you mean: I seriously turn into another person during the week of MS. It’s so unfair, because I swear I’m a rip roarin’ good time otherwise.

    ahhhh SWEET post.

    great.

the Arch Angels are Michael, Gabriel, Vincent and the fallen Lucifer.

My pastor always says that he doesn’t want little naked baby angels who lay around on puffy clouds all day protecting him…he wants big strong guy angels with huge swords and the breastplate of righteousness……. I keep this in mind when I’m having a bad day…those big guys are protecting me.

    Seriously….a priest with a glamour do…..cute.
    so cute.

Good to see the clouds have parted again.

They tend to do that when you wait it out (usually).

What did you and Brilly do last night, hmmmmmmmmm?

Papa and Mama Jorge love you sweetie!

Ah, I know that feeling well. When I’m all MSy I continually tell myself that my very intense feelings that I am wronged by everyone in my life are irrational and that I should wait a week before confronting anyone.

And just when I think I can’t bear the burden of everyone being SO mean to me one more second, the MS is over and life resumes.

Damn that Eve for eating that f-ing fruit.

Sassmonster, practice your infield chatter before you bust it out.

No one wants to hear “We want a pitcher, not a belly itcher.” I suggest patterning yourself after the Robert Wuhl character in Bull Durham. Candlesticks are nice.

I am currently waiting for my clouds to pass to the relief you are feeling. I have felt like either murdering everyone who has crossed my path or committing suicide.

When you wrote about Michael McDonald and hell beast in the same sentence, I really, truly thought that link was going to go to a picture of the guy who won Idle American.

Good day indeed! I know I’m having a good day when I stroll into work and am able to not only make eye contact, but ACTUALLY SPEAK TO, the middle-aged white guy walking to his office in Rustler jeans, black orthopedic shoes with velcro straps, white soccks, a black leather jacket with buckles and straps, and a nylon doo-rag.

    Totally not kidding.
