In the interests of internationalism, I’d like to mention Canadian actress Meg Tilly was also born today. She is quoted as saying, “I have nothing intelligent to say.”
Sounds to me as if she would have made a good television personality too.
Well I for one refuse to buy into the crass commercialism of Hugh Downs Day. It’s just a blatant attempt for Hallmark and FTD to cash in on another phony holiday….
